The proposed Mindanao Transport Connectivity Improvement Project (MTCIP) consists of the two components, further defined here as the “Main Corridor” and the “Link Roads” Main Corridor: Rehabilitation of 124km of road section and Road Asset Management (Asset Preservation and Preventive Maintenance) for the whole stretch of the Main Corridor, CDO - Davao- GenSan Corridor, with the length of 428.2 km Link Roads: Improvement/upgrading of approximately 116 km of local roads to National Roads standards in Mindanao which are expected to improve the connectivity of local communities to the Main Corridor.

- GALERIO conducted a Due Diligence and Options Analysis (DDOA) for the Mindanao Transport Connectivity Improvement Project (MTCIP), supporting the Bank's assessment of proposed road improvements. The study evaluated environmental and social risks in conflict-affected areas, reviewed regulatory documentation and DENR-EMB requirements, and assessed options for road rehabilitation, asset preservation, road safety, climate resilience, economic feasibility, and financial sustainability.
