The Las Colinas Leisure Farm Land Development Project is a proposed real estate development by Sta. Lucia Land Inc., located in Barangay Eden, Toril, Davao City, Philippines. As part of the project's environmental permitting process, the proponent submitted an application for an Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR–EMB) Region XI. An Engineering Geological and Geohazard Assessment (EGGA) was undertaken as part of the technical requirements supporting the ECC application. Galerio Environmental Consultancy was commissioned to conduct the EGGA study and prepare the corresponding technical report for the proposed development site. The assessment provides engineering geological and geohazard information relevant to evaluating site conditions and supporting environmental planning and land development considerations. Regulatory Context: The Las Colinas Leisure Farm Land Development Project was subject to environmental permitting requirements under the Philippine Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) System, established through Presidential Decree No. 1586 and its applicable implementing rules and regulations. Sta. Lucia Land Inc. lodged an application for an Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) with DENR–Environmental Management Bureau Region XI. As part of the supporting technical requirements, an Engineering Geological and Geohazard Assessment (EGGA) was undertaken for the proposed development site. Galerio Environmental Consultancy was commissioned to conduct the assessment and prepare the corresponding EGGA report.
